Crossroad Church Music Leader Internship

Crossroad Church is a Southern Baptist Church that identifies with the Reformed Baptist Tradition. We are offering a 20-week internship beginning in 2023. Our intern will be mentored by, and work alongside, the elders in planning each worship service. In the first month, the intern will be asked to learn and assist on Sunday morning during the music portion of each service. After the first month, if the elders deem him ready, the intern will be responsible to lead the music portion of each service under the direction and oversight of the elders.

The intern will meet each Wednesday afternoon and evening with one of the elders and the music team. In addition, he will attend Sunday morning music practice, prayer time before the service, the worship service itself, and Sunday school. The estimated time commitment for this position is 7 hours/week.

Our intern will be required to become a member of Crossroad Church for the duration of the internship. The stipend for this position is $3,750 for 20 weeks of employment.

Our goal in providing this internship is to provide a place for a man who believes he may be called to vocational ministry to get a glimpse of what ministry is like, grow in his understanding of God’s word and its application in life and worship, and to allow the local church the biblical place in calling out men for ministry.
