Job Description
The discipleship pastor position at Gravel Hill is primarily a relational and administrative role, but some teaching is required. The discipleship pastor is not an associate pastor, so the primary role is not to assist the teaching pastor. Instead, the discipleship pastor partners with the teaching pastor to lead the church together. While the teaching pastor focuses on the corporate preaching of the Word on Sunday and churchwide biblical teaching, the discipleship pastor focuses on discipling the flock daily through other means like organizing events and equipping lay leaders.
