Job Description

New City Church would like to hire a skilled Professional Worship Leader to help lead New City Church’s Sunday Worship Service. This is a part-time paid position.

The Worship Music Leader would be responsible for leading Sunday Worship Music, the volunteer band members and Sound Tech volunteers. The Leader would report directly to the Pastors/Elders and would meet with the pastors and all volunteer parties involved on an as needed basis.

New City Church is a church in Highlands Ranch, CO. We are committed to the reformed theological tradition and Credo-baptistic in our views of baptism. We follow a modified family integrated model and encourage all of our church attenders and members to worship together on Sunday as a family of families. We sing contemporary versions of the Psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Our main musical influences are Brian Sauve, Sovereign Grace, All Sons and Daughters, Shane and Shane, Ascend the Hill, Red Mountain Music and others. We sing theologically rich and God-glorifying songs which point us to our reason for worship and the glorious God we serve. We have some reformed liturgical elements in our service such as a Call to Worship, Confession and Pardon, Greeting/Reconciliation, Sermon, Weekly Communion, Doxology and Benediction.
