Job Description

Established in 1888, Rochelle Baptist Church of Rochelle, Tx is a small town church with a praying congregation with a gospel centered mission. We are looking for a pastor to lead our small congregation (less than 50) and help us grow spiritually. We prefer our worship to be biblically regulated with scripture reading, praying, God centered singing and expositional preaching. The church owns a 3/2 parsonage 1150 sq ft and includes utilities. We encourage/approve of a second income if necessary.

Submitting your resume is an indication on your part that you believe that you meet all of the biblical qualifications to be a pastor, including belief in the authority and sufficiency of scripture, ability to communicate God’s Word, able to teach and hold firmly to the trustworthy message to encourage others by sound doctrine and the scripture character and life indicated as qualifications for elders (reference: 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy and Titus).
