Senior Pastor
Job Description
FBC of Waterford, California, is searching for a Senior Pastor who will lead us in biblical truth and exercise shepherd-like leadership through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The ideal pastoral candidate shall be a graduate of a Southern Baptist seminary or “The Master’s” Seminary (eligible to apply within one semester of completion). The candidate shall fulfill the Biblical qualifications of 1 Tim. 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9 as well as adhere to the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message. The candidate must be detail-oriented with experience and proficiency in the Administration of the Church.
We believe the man God calls to Pastor our congregation should possess strengths in the following areas: expository preaching and teaching of scripture, applying scripture to the needs of the congregation, providing leadership to the staff, committees, and ministries of the church. The candidate must have a passion to Preach and Teach to both young and old in following Jesus and equip them to share the Gospel.
FBC Waterford is a large campus that includes a parsonage, several ministries, and room for expansion.
