Calvary Grace Baptist Church

Calvary Grace Baptist church is a southern Baptist church that for over 30 years has been a sovereign grace reformed church.

CGBC is a small church in an area that has no reformed churches around for 50 miles. The Armenian belief system in this region is very hostile to the reformed belief.

We at CGBC simply want to be a light on the hill proclaiming the Grace of God. My name is Johnny Melancon I have been the pastor here for 20 years and would like to invite those with the reformed Calvinistic sovereign grace beliefs in our area to come and serve with us in the battle to teach and proclaim the doctrines of the Bible.

CGBC believes in working to live Holy lives in obedience to all mighty God thanking Him and respecting Him for the great Grace bestowed on His children. We at CGBC also understand the great grace that God has given His imperfect children, just like David who was a man after Gods own heart failed many times; but God forgives His children.

CGBC also understands the legalistic eras that all Christians fall into and strive to be Biblical based and not fall into man’s traditions and belief systems.
