About Church

(description from our website)

Our community is first and foremost the fruit of divine providence. In the summer of 2024, a handful of Christians felt the desire to come together in the service of God and His plan, which is to bring everything together under the good and virtuous authority of Christ.

Despite the recent nature of the project, our roots are firmly planted in biblical Christianity and its history.
We are Christians, Protestants, Evangelicals:

Christians, because that is what those who came to know Jesus Christ and recognized him as Lord were called in the early days of the church. Christians also because no one other than Jesus Christ has been appointed by God to be the mediator between the holy God and sinful mankind. God, in his goodness, sent us Christ (the term from which the word “Christian” is derived) so that we might be saved from our sins and become his disciples. As disciples of Christ, therefore, we bear the beautiful name of our gentle Master.

Protestants, because we recognize ourselves as part of the great Reformation of the 16th century, when God once again had compassion on souls by allowing the rediscovery of central biblical truths. We refer to the five solas of the Reformation. One of these five solas (or principles) is sola fide – by faith alone. Indeed, it is by faith alone that we can receive God’s forgiveness, and not by our works or religious ceremonies. Thus, the sign of faith that is baptism must be given, not to infants, but to all those who have faith in the God who graciously justifies the ungodly who repent. This makes us Reformed Baptist Protestants.

We are evangelicals because we are convinced by two essential spiritual realities. First, the salvation of souls does not depend on human institutions, clergy, or religious rituals. Salvation is found entirely in the person and work of Christ, in whom God has willed that sinners find free redemption through living faith in him.
Finally, since God saves and adopts into his family only those who have faith in the Gospel, it is logical that one is not born a Christian but must become one. The Gospel (a term meaning “good news”) is the divine message of reconciliation with God made possible by God, and one cannot be at peace with God without hearing and accepting this message.
From the time of the Apostle Paul to the present day, this has been one of the essential elements of the Gospel message.
