Legacy Reformed Baptist Church
About Church
At Legacy we see the biblical call to both look behind and ahead. We can plainly see God’s faithfulness to His people, both in the Bible and in the history of the church. We learn from the faithful men and women who have come before, as we humbly take our place among them in the Kingdom work of living lives in obedience to Christ, proclaiming His supremacy in all things, discipling each new generation and every new believer to know, love, and obey our Lord and Savior. We stand on what has been built for us, as we labor with our every breath to be found faithful in the good works that have been prepared beforehand for us.
When we gather, we all worship together, parents and children. We believe in the benefit of multigenerational learning and discipleship. In our worship service we utilize the Baptist Catechism and the 1689 Baptist Confession to make use of those excellent tools left for us to more clearly understand God’s Word. Each week we enjoy the reading of God’s Word, the singing of theologically rich hymns and spiritual songs, expositional verse by verse preaching, the Lord’s Supper, a fellowship meal, and a second hour where we further discuss the sermon and our weekly catechism and confession readings.
