Bi-vocational or co-vocational pastor

Job Description

Campton Baptist Church is seeking to hire a bi-vocational or co-vocational associate pastor to share in the ministry of the word and prayer and the work of evangelism. Housing (parsonage), utilities allowance and monthly stipend provided. The duties of the staff elder would include preaching and teaching and planning and conducting worship and prayer services in cooperation with the other elders. As a church, we recognize and affirm that we need a greater ministry presence and focus on evangelism in our community. We affirm the Baptist Faith and Message (2000), the Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy, the Danvers Statement on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood, and the Nashville Statement on gender and sexuality.
