Summary
The Grace Hill Church Music internship is an exciting opportunity for a music
leader looking to develop heart, passion, and gifting for music ministry. We are
looking for an energetic, humble, and Christ-focused music leader to join our
team.
Structure
This is a part-time, temporary, hourly position (non-exempt) working
approximately 15 hours per week. The specific number of hours required per
week is flexible based on needs, the season of ministry, and the life situation of
the intern. The Music Intern is a part of the Music Ministry Team and reports
directly to the Pastor of Music Ministries.

Responsibilities
Help lead music for service on Sunday Morning from 8:30am-12:30pm
Assist in the music liturgy preparation process by planning worship services,
creating chord charts, and communicating with team members via Planning
Center.
Meet regularly with music pastor for training, development, and planning.
Invest in other musicians and vocalists to provide training, development, and
discipleship.
Participate in music associated with other GHC events (i.e.: Ascension Day;
Good Friday; Christmas Eve)
Attend and participate in a Small Group
Begin the GHC Membership Process

Minimum Qualifications
● Experience leading music for church services.
● Skill, experience, and prior training as a vocalist, instrumentalist, and music
leader.
