Bi-vocational Pastor

Job Description

New Hope Baptist Church is a small rural congregation with an average attendance of approximately 20 people. We are seeking a dedicated pastor to shepherd and feed our flock on the meat of scripture. This would ideally include expository preaching each Sunday, leading/teaching Wednesday night service/class, and setting a schedule to be available for counseling, visiting members in need, hospitality and leadership in community outreach projects. Our main ministry focus at this time has been, caring for one another, hosting weekly interdenominational Bible/Book studies, partnering with our county’s Christian foster care support group and hosting bi-monthly homeschool events. Our prayer is that the Lord would provide a pastor to our congregation that is hungry to grow in our knowledge, wisdom and love for one another.
