Job Description

Sovereign Grace Baptist Church (SGBC) is a small church with a solid core of mature, loving, generous believers. We’re an autonomous local church governed by a plurality of Elders.
We’re looking for a pastor whose main function will be preaching. The position will initially be on a part-time or bi-vocational basis (or full-time for a person with some financial support).
Prior to Covid, SGBC was growing and flourishing with a man in that position, working on a bi-vocational basis. Our goal is to refill that position and grow the church to the point where it can support a pastor on a full-time basis.
The minimum requirement for a candidate is a bachelor degree from an accredited seminary and some experience in church ministry and preaching.
