Music and Discipleship Pastor

Job Description

This called, paid elder position combines discipleship leadership with congregational music leadership. Together Church on North Grand is a rapidly growing congregation where we are challenged to effectively disciple all whom God is bringing from our local community. The church is located in an economically challenged area of our community — as such, considerable emphasis is being placed on the restoration of a strong cultural mandate in our area. The polity is congregationally governed, and led by a plurality of elders.

A successful leader in this area thinks and acts missionally and can articulate a love for Christ and the members of the community where He has placed His church. Ministry staff experience is not essential as long as clear gifting and call is evident.

In addition to salary, benefits would include health and 10% of salary as retirement.
