Associate Pastor of Education / Headmaster

Summary:

Fairview Baptist Church is looking for an associate pastor who will assist the elders in leading and overseeing a new education ministry in our church. This man will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive plan for Christian education that aligns with the vision and mission of the church.

Fairview Baptist Church is seeking to start a Christian Worldview Academy for junior high and high school level students as a ministry to cultivate a robust Christian world and life view (click here to read the ministry prospectus). We want to help students obtain a high school diploma or accredited certificate in a Christian environment.

The man fulfilling this role would assume the role of headmaster and primary teacher of the academy and develop this ministry as the Lord provides. This is a full-time salaried position.

Qualifications:

A man fulfilling the qualifications of an elder according to 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1.
Agreement with our doctrine and philosophy of ministry.
A passion for teaching and discipleship and possessing a strong biblical knowledge.
A master’s degree in divinity, theology, or education.
Ideally possessing teaching certification in Alberta.
Christian education experience.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a collaborative and servant-hearted attitude.
